Since its establishment in 2004, the China International Tire & Wheel (Qingdao) Exhibition has been held annually, dedicated to building a professional global platform for trade, networking, and cooperation in the tire industry. Over more than two decades of development, the Expo has grown into a highly recognized and market-oriented international event. It brings together over 350 leading global tire and wheel enterprises, covering the entire industry chain and facilitating international procurement and sales. By adopting a “online + offline” hybrid format, it enables exhibitors and overseas buyers to achieve seamless cross-border business and cooperation.
The 2026 China International Tire & Wheel (Qingdao) Exhibition will take place on July 8–11, 2026, at the Qingdao World Expo City International Exhibition Center, leveraging Qingdao’s unique advantages in industry, research, and port resources to establish a global platform for tire trade and exchange, and to promote high-quality development of the industry.

China is the world’s largest consumer of natural rubber, the largest producer of rubber products, and the largest manufacturer of tires. Centered in Qingdao, the Shandong region accounts for 52% of China’s tire output and over 60% of exports, maintaining domestic leadership for 21 consecutive years and hosting half of China’s top 10 tire brands. Qingdao is home to more than 120 large-scale rubber product enterprises, with high-end tire output ranking first in the province, along with over 10 leading rubber equipment enterprises. A new green rubber industry is rapidly emerging, driving the creation of a trillion-yuan industrial cluster. Relying on Qingdao Port, which handles more than 60% of China’s rubber raw materials and product throughput, the city has become a key import hub for natural rubber and an international resource distribution center. Meanwhile, Qingdao University of Science & Technology, known as the “Whampoa Military Academy of China’s Rubber Industry,” was the first Chinese university to establish a rubber discipline, providing strong talent and research support for the industry’s sustainable growth.
