On May 29 local time in Mexico, the first tire rolled off the production line at Sailun Group’s new plant in Mexico, marking the full commissioning of the facility. At the same time, Sailun’s brand value has increased by 13%, making it the fastest-growing Chinese tire company.

According to market research data from Brand Finance, Sailun Group not only enjoys strong brand recognition in the Chinese market but has also gained widespread consumer recognition internationally.

Distinguished guests attended the celebration ceremony, including Dong Wei, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico, and Zhou Shengyu, President of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Mexico). With the rollout of its first high-performance semi-steel radial tire, Sailun officially commenced operations at its first intelligent manufacturing base in North America. This milestone marks a significant step forward in Sailun’s manufacturing capabilities and opens a new chapter in its global expansion.

        The Sailun Mexico plant was officially launched on May 15, 2024, and produced its first tire just two weeks later, on May 29. Once fully operational, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 6 million tires and serve as Sailun Group’s smart manufacturing hub in the North American market. The project emphasizes automation and digitalization to meet regional demand and accelerate the global expansion of Chinese tire brands.
